Cosmic Champions
Heroes and villains alike can be cosmic champions because they have access to the universe’s most basic forces. You’re free to use any deity, supernatural being, or extraterrestrial race you like. Instances of this include the Marvel heroes Thor and Venom. A planet with teal rings represents them. They weaken against Tech, but are vulnerable to Mystic attacks.
Skill Champions
The physical prowess and well-honed fighting skills of these champions as martial artists, weapons experts, and assassins are their primary weapons. Members of this group, represented by a red fist, include Daredevil, Blade, and Black Widow. On the other hand, Skill is helpless against Mutant but has the upper hand against Science.
Tech Champions
Tech champions rely on technological advancements like mechanized battlesuits, cutting-edge weaponry, and robotics to give them an edge in combat. Star-Lord, Iron Man, and Ultron are all members of this group of Marvel Contest of Champions heroes. They are represented by a dark blue circuit trace icon. While they fare well against Mutants, they are no match for the Cosmic threat.
Science Champions
These heroes acquired their fighting skills through scientific experiments or random chance. The green chemistry beaker represents this group, which includes Spider-Man, the Hulk, and Captain America. They’re no match for champions with superior Skill, but they’re more than a match for Mystic.
Mutant Champions
Mutants are regular people who happen to have X-genes Retro Bowl that give them superpowers. The vast majority of these champions, both good and evil, hail from the X-Men continuity or its various offshoots. They are represented by a yellow DNA helix, and while they are completely helpless against the Tech faction, they are unstoppable against the Skill faction.
Mystic Champions
These heroes are adept at the Mystic Arts, which involve drawing on or directing supernatural power. Doctor Strange, the Scarlet Witch, and Iron Fist are all well-known heroes. The Eye of Providence in purple font on their names is a dead giveaway. While they are useless against Science, they can do significant damage to the Cosmic.
