Is a Lab Grown Diamond Stronger Than a Mined Diamond?
The answer to this question depends on how you define “stronger.” Both lab-grown diamonds and mined diamonds are equally strong. What makes a diamond hard is its atomic structure, which consists of carbon atoms arranged in a repeating pattern called a crystal lattice. The hardness of a diamond depends on how tightly those atoms are packed together.
